Happy Tuesday!

Hi everyone! I wanted to start this blog as a way to stay in touch with family and friends and maybe meet some cool new people along the way. I thought of doing this years ago and even made one post but never did a second one. Let's hope this time goes better than that.

I was inspired by the Back To Her Roots blog and loved it. I loved following the everyday life of a strong woman showing the world the process of trying to achieve her goals. It is a photo centric blog so it feels like you are really a friend invited into her life. I hope to have the same effect with everyone that reads this but especially with my friends I haven't seen in over a year, my Mom that I haven't seen in almost six months, and other friends that I see more often but definitely not enough.

What will I be writing about here you wonder? Well, anything I feel like. I do not intend to be a food or fitness blog only, though weight loss is a major goal of mine right now. I am trying to begin a career as a personal historian and am beginning a few projects with friends that are kind enough to allow me this opportunity to gain some experience. Thanks guys!!! My family is the most important entity in my life so they may show up quite a bit. But it's really just a day to day thing for me. There will however be two constants:

Song of the day is:

I had a strong urge to listen to this today and thankfully for Spotify I could look it up and listen to it as many times as I like.

Quote of the day:
Dead last finish is better than did not finish which trumps did not start. - Anonymous

This is a running quote but I think it is fitting for life in general. Quotes like this help to bring me back to my senses when I am afraid to try because I might fail. For instance, it has been days since I set up my blog account. I was afraid to get started but well, here I am.

Thanks for reading and I'll be posting again soon. I'm determined to post at least three times this go round:-)
